Machete Attack in Brighton Leaves 1 Person Dead
An attack involving a machete in Brighton has left one person dead and four others injured. The incident occurred on Tuesday night at the 2400 block of Cherry Circle near East Bromley Lane and South 27th Avenue, according to KDVR.
The Skinner family were the victims of the act. Bonnie Skinner was killed in the attack. Her husband, Vincent, two daughters, Abigayle, Paige, and their family friend, Daniel Smeal, were injured in the incident.
The suspect, 48-year-old Lonny Lynn McNair of Brighton, has been arrested. He is being charged with one count of homicide, four counts of attempted homicide, first-degree burglary, and felony eluding. McNair is currently being held at the Adams County Detention Facility.
