Loveland Police Look for Suspects in String of Graffiti ‘Taggings’
There have been at least four reports of graffiti tagging across Loveland this week, including a church. Loveland police are looking for any leads the public might have.
‘God is dead’, was the message sprayed on the marquee sign of Abiding Love Lutheran Church at 1st and Corvus on the southeast side of Loveland earlier this week. Vandals also sprayed a snarky message on the church’s dumpster: ‘Don’t do drugs kids, stay in school.’ That’s just one site that got tagged, so far, this week.
The Reporter-Herald reports that four other places have been involved: In downtown, Front Range Vapors at 5th and Railroad and Artworks Loveland were both tagged (the Reporter-Herald spotted the Artworks tag); the base of one of the sculptures on the north side of Benson Sculpture Garden by Loveland High School was sprayed, and the Spirit Halloween store on East Eisenhower off of Madison was also vandalized.
Anyone with any information about the vandalism can contact the Loveland Police Department at 970-667-2151 or Larimer County Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868.
