Loveland Family Does Well at World Elk Calling Championships
A Loveland family recently did very well at the 2018 World Elk Calling Championships, presented by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the International Sportsmen’s Expositions. Tom Diesing placed second in the professional division. His daughter Jessi Sletten took second place in the women's division. Tom's son, Thomas, made it into the Sweet 16. They call themselves The Diesing Family Buglers. Their business in Loveland is Mile High Note Game Calls.
This YouTube video features Tom, Jessi, and Thomas stopping by the K99 studio to share their elk calling skills with Brian and Todd.
The field began with 105 callers, which is the largest field ever at the Elk Calling Championships. The championships were held March 16-17 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
