Longtime Sports Bar in Loveland Re-Opens as New Bar
A Loveland sports bar that was once featured on 'Bar Rescue' in 2022, became a "bar that was once in Colorado" in early 2026. By the spring of 2026, another sports bar was ready to give that location their own shot.
Who's Now at the Spot That Was Blue/Champions for So Long in Loveland?
Last Call Tavern officially opened their doors on April 28, 2026. Being that the previous place, Champions Sports Cafe, went through a big renovation in 2022, there probably wasn't a lot that they needed to do to get things off the ground. For many years the location was known as "Miller's Crossing," then Blue 32, then Champions Sports Cafe, until that closed in February of 2026.

Last Call Tavern appears to be a place that's going to appeal to many; with beer, cocktails and a fairly simple menu. They have appetizers (starters,) burgers, salads, a kids menu, and a late-night menu (after the kitchen closes) consisting of $10 10-inch pizzas and $3 corn dogs. A simple menu (especially when starting out) can ensure quality and quicker service.
Is This New, Last Call Tavern a Green Bay Packers Bar?
Last Call's motto is "Where Every Game is a Home Game." I like the way that sounds; it brings a sense of comradery, where everybody's cheering high-fiving. However, it may be that Packers fans are a little more welcome.
Though they do have a "Bronco Burger" on their menu, they do also offer a "Packer Burger." This could end up being one rowdy place full of "Cheesheads," but that's fun, too, when they're not playing Denver.
