Another COVID-19 related death was added to Larimer County's cumulative tally on Sunday (Dec. 20), bringing the county's total to 31 deaths in December alone, and 112 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Larimer County Department of Health also recorded 133 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. There have now been 13,768 COVID-19 cases reported in Larimer County since March.

Among the new cases, 32 cases were dated Sunday (Dec. 20), and the rest were dated on previous days. In the last week, Larimer County has added 844 new COVID-19 cases.

Overall, the county’s risk rating still remains high, but several factors in that rating have been declining.

Indications of a decline include Larimer County's updated overall two-week prevalence of 610 cases per 100,000 residents, which is a drop of 210 cases per 100,000 people from the week prior.

Additionally, the county's two-week positivity rating dropped to 9.3%, and only two days out of the past 14 days displayed a positivity rate of 10% or more.
