Large South American Vulture Shows Up in Colorado
Get this bird a jacket! The vultures we are supposed to see in Colorado are called Turkey Vultures and have red heads.
However, a few months ago a man in Sedalia, just south of Denver, found this vulture native to South America hanging out with his chickens.
It's a Black Vulture. It was finally captured and will be taken to a warmer climate. Too bad we can't hear about his journey. Why bird? Why would you come here?
