Kids and adults around Northern Colorado can get into the "Krampus" spirit of Christmas this season at several spots around the Loveland area, where he'll be heckling "bad" kids and collecting toys for Toys for Tots of Northern Colorado. Pictures, fun, and helping our community.

He's not as popular as Santa Claus, but he is known; known for being the "anti-Santa." Santa gives good boys and girls toys, Krampus gives bad boys and girls sticks. It makes sense, Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas, shouldn't deliver punishment; leave it to the helper with horns and weird feet. Today, Krampus celebrations are held all over and Krampuses come out to meet people and join in the fun.

Northern Colorado Krampus has been around since about 2017 (it's hard to say if it's just one Krampus or a group,) dressing up and attending all sorts of evens and festivals in Northern Colorado. Christmastime, however, is when Northern Colorado Krampus is busiest. There are so many places to see Santa; the number of "Krampus Stops" is a bit lower, but can be just as fun. Krampus is definitely more for adults; those horns can scare a lot of kids (as if Santa wasn't scary enough, for some.)
