Where once there was a Starbucks, a very much different kind of coffee shop is coming to Fort Collins. If you are one who thinks that Starbucks is "snooty" and "pretentious," you'll want to check this place out.

Feel free to bring your kids when you venture out for some coffee in Fort Collins, Colorado; they're going to have arcade games. Arcade games at a coffee shop? As I said, this is not your "run-of-the-mill" coffee shop.

This coffee shop chain has about two dozen locations nationwide, mainly in the southeast. In Colorado, this will the be company's fourth location. It will be taking over a Starbucks that closed in March 2022.

When they are done renovating the space at a cost of about (according to WhatNowDenver.com) $450,000, you definitely won't recognize the place.

These folks have been around since 2009, and their mission is not just to roast and sell coffee but to help others spread "Love." It would appear that their business model is succeeding, with new shops opening all the time.

Their business model: Run a coffee shop that gives a portion of its profits away. In their first year, they gave away $100,000 in profits; that seems amazing.

Just Love Coffee Cafe, based out of Tennessee, will be bringing a new location to an "old" coffee location. They'll be coming to the spot where they had a Starbucks at Campus West, in Fort Collins, at City Park and Elizabeth.

I have a friend who used to live above that Starbucks and the smell of the coffee was a bonus. I'll bet many others who live in the apartments above will be looking forward to the smell of fresh coffee again.

Just Love founder Rob Webb states that when it comes to their coffee shops:

With a name like 'Just Love' [you have make sure that's what customers experience.]

One of their mottoes is "Everyone Deserves Love and Coffee." It's hard to argue with that.
