JB’s Family Pick: Colorado Railroad Museum
I took my daughter to the Colorado Train Museum in Golden and we had so much fun that it's my JB's Family Pick for this week; I highly recommend catching a ride on the train.
The museum is volunteer-operated by local train enthusiasts, so your patronage keeps the doors open for the public to explore American train history.
Cruise the museum’s 15-acre rail yard with over 100 locomotives, passenger cars and cabooses.
Each Friday from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., the museum features a behind-the-scenes tour; this week's theme is the caboose.
Admission: $10 adults, $5 children (ages 2-17), $8 seniors (ages 60+). Museum members, children under 2 and active military personnel enter for free.
Ride Tickets: $4 adults (18+), $2, Children (ages 2-17). Museum members and children under 2 enter for free.
