Local music fans know the best way to get a taste of new and old favorite bands is at Taste of Fort Collins. With so many debut and returning acts taking the stage this year, it’s important to know who’s playing at Northern Colorado’s biggest party ahead of time.

Northern Colorado has musical talent in all genres, from rap to punk to folk. Determining which acts would play at Washington Park on June 10 and 11 was no easy task, so we left it up to Townsquare Media radio listeners to vote for their favorites in our annual Taste of Fort Collins local band contest.

Almost 40 bands entered the Taste of Fort Collins band contest this year, allowing audiences to vote on acts from nearly every genre. Every band received at least one vote, so even acts that didn’t make it to the main stage know they have die-hard fans out there. All in all, thousands of people voted to choose Northern Colorado’s favorite bands.

The bands Northern Colorado chose will get to play before the All-American Rejects and Lil Jon, set good vibes while people explore the festival and get their names out to a wider audience of music lovers. There’s no better way to spend a summer weekend than chilling and listening to the best musicians in Northern Colorado.
