The ‘Worst’ Fast Food Chain has Only Four Colorado Locations

Like music, movies, and TV shows, everyone's personal preference when it comes to food is entirely subjective. To go further, it's rare, if not impossible, that any ranking of these subjective things will ever be agreed upon by everyone.

That being said, a new study has come out that reportedly names the worst fast food chain in the United States and, surprisingly, there are only four locations in Colorado.

The study, conducted by Yahoo Finance, named Long John Silver's the worst fast food chain in the country.

Curious, I did some research and found that not only are several locations listed as "permanently closed," but only four locations still remain in Colorado.

As you'll see above, there used to be a pretty significant handful of Long John Silver's locations in the Denver metro area alone, but now only one remains at 250 W. 136th Ave #429 in Westminster.

Just north of the metro area, one Long John Silver's restaurant calls Northern Colorado home at 2413 8th Ave #169 in Greeley.

Also surprisingly, you'll only find one Long John Silver's restaurant on the Western Slope at 2020 N. Townsend Avenue in Montrose.

And finally, the fourth remaining Long John Silver's restaurant in Colorado is located way down south at 2435 Main St. Lot 4B-2 in Alamosa.

Is Long John Silver's Really the Worst Fast Food Chain in Colorado?

As mentioned above, these kinds of lists are subjective to personal tastes but I really wouldn't call Long John Silver's the worst. Personally, I've always been a fan of Long John Silver's and have fond memories of eating there as a child.

I mean, where else are you going to find Hush Puppies? Unfortunately for those who feel similarly the number of locations in the Centennial State has dwindled greatly.
