The 2nd Most Christmassy Town in America: Durango, Colorado

Durango, Colorado, has about 20,000 residents in La Plata County. Visitors say Durango's historic holiday feel is unmatched when you factor in crowds, cost, and holiday events. Durango is ranked #2 overall by Mixbook for "Most Christmassy Towns in America,"

Enjoy holiday lights throughout the riverwalk and skiing at the nearby Purgatory Ski Resort. Some of the best Christmas cookies in Colorado are found on board Durango's holiday Polar Express.

The 42nd Most Christmassy Town in America: Breckenridge, Colorado

The Lighting of Breckenridge and the Race of the Santas can put a smile on the face of any holiday "Scrooge." Breckenridge is ranked #42 overall by Mixbook. Main Street in Breckenridge is illuminated during the holidays with 250,000 LED lights. ULLR Fest and the New Year's Eve Glowworm/ Torchlight Parade are great ways to wrap up the year.
