Another Fort Collins Brewery Will Be Closing for Good
After two and a half years, a craft brewery located in Fort Collins will close for good. Patrons of the brewery will not have to wait long for another option in the area, however, as another Colorado brewery will be taking over the space.
According to the Coloradoan, Atlanta-based Sweetwater Brewing will cease operations in Fort Collins at 1010 East Lincoln Avenue this summer. Not long after the closure of Sweetwater Brewing, Breckenridge Brewery will start operating in the location.
Breckenridge Brewery Coming to Fort Collins, Colorado
The Fort Collins location will be the third location for the Colorado craft brewery. Breckenridge Brewery opened in 1990 in the mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado. The second location for Breckenridge Brewery is located in Littleton. I have been to the second location a handful of times and have always had a great experience.

Breckenridge Brewery will celebrate the opening of the Fort Collins location with a 'First Pour Party" on August 17 from noon to 7 p.m. This Northern Colorado location will feature a brewery and a full restaurant. The Fort Collins location for Breckenridge Brewery will also employ 40 people, including Head Brewer, Ryan Joy, of Sweetwater Brewing Company.
