I also have friends and family that have passwords for my streaming accounts so they can use it as well. The days of sharing passwords for streaming providers are limited because these providers are starting to crack down in a major way.

Disney+ passwords are shared less often, however, the media giant is cracking down on sharing passwords in a major way.

This might mean that people in Colorado will either be paying more for the streaming service, or their service might be cut off because they are using somebody else's password.

Disney+ Restrictions in Colorado

Disney+ is adding new restrictions for sharing passwords and will use location data to detect when there is a user using the platform outside of the household.

So if you live in Loveland and your sister lives in Boulder, according to Disney+'s new policy, you will be charged additionally for sharing the password.

Users will be able to add a member outside of the household. For Disney+ Basic, account owners will pay an additional $6.99, and Disney+Premium users will pay an extra $9.99.

It might be time to boot that friend or family member who has been mooching off of your password. Or it may be time for you to get your own account.
