Coloradans Want to Move to This Extremely Surprising Major City
More and more Coloradans are leaving. It makes me sad. Yes, we are still seeing large numbers of people moving to Colorado, but many families are having conversations about packing up their homes and moving elsewhere. For example, over 20,000 Coloradans moved to Texas last year.
If you have had this conversation, we just want to say that we do not want to see you leave, but at the end of the day, you should always do what is best for you and your family. But please, whatever you do, do not move to the city where most Coloradans want to move to.
Coloradans Want to Move to This City and We Don't Get It
Remitly conducted a poll to figure out where Americans want to move to. According to the data, they found that Coloradans want to move to Portland, Oregon more than any city outside of Colorado.
Really? Why in the world would anybody choose Portland above Colorado?
If it is about cost here is a newsflash: Portland is much more expensive than Colorado. One of my really good friends lives in Portland.
They live in a tiny apartment that is $800 more expensive than my home in Fort Collins. Not to mention that crime in Portland is significantly higher than in any city in Colorado.
I will say that the scenery in the Pacific Northwest is beautiful. But please, do not move to Portland, Oregon.
If you are considering an out-of-state move, do yourself a favor and spend some time where you plan on moving.
