iPhone’s SIRI Gets Sued
Wow, what a difference a couple of months can make! In January, Kevin Mussman blogged that Siri, Apple’s digital assistant, was the “best feature” of the new iPhone. Now that people have had a chance to use Siri, one man has filed a lawsuit against Apple for misleading him about Siri’s capabilities. He’s claiming that he cannot get Siri to perform all of the tasks that Apple shows in their television commercials.
I was really excited about having Siri on my iPhone in January, too, and played around quite a bit with it. But, in all honesty, I haven’t used Siri at all for a couple of months. For me, Siri was more of a novelty and not terribly useful — especially because I tend to be impatient and can accomplish all the Siri tasks myself quickly with a few strokes of the keyboard!
