Local NoCo Coffee Chain Hosting Give Back Day and Food Drive

Since 2004 there has been a fixture in the Northern Colorado community when it comes to giving people a quick, daily drive-thru jolt. Of course I'm talking about caffeine.

If you're a "coffee person," you no doubt have visited one of the many Human Bean locations across Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland and more. For more than 20 years, their name is pretty synonymous with coffee in Northern Colorado.

As such, they recognize their responsibility to the community that has made them a success and conducts several philanthropic efforts each and every year, the next one coming up in the month of August.

From August 8th thru the 31st, all Human Bean locations will be accepting donations of canned and non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Food Bank for Larimer County, Weld Food Bank, Windsor Severance Food Pantry and Wellington, Colorado Food Banks.

In addition to collecting these items throughout the month, they will also be donating $1 for every drink purchased on August 8, 2025 to the food banks, recognizing that hunger and food insecurity is a very real thing in our communities, whether we realize it or not.

One in four people in Weld County struggle with hunger, and nearly 10% of Larimer County faces the same challenges.

While donating food during the month won't earn you a discount on any of your drinks at the Human Bean that day, the gesture is still appreciated and goes a long way toward helping your fellow community members that may be struggling.
