How to Soak Up Liquids at the Bottom of Your Trash Can

My wife and I moved recently; and when I went to empty the trash can for the last time before packing it, I couldn't believe how gross it had become.  There was all manner of dried-up, syrupy gunk at the bottom.  Yuck!  I'm definitely doing something like this from now on...

If you ask your kids to do this for you, just make sure they don't throw your iPad in the trash (ha ha ha)!

Seriously, though, a surprising number of kids don't know what newspapers are nowadays.... ;)
