How to Make Your Own Wrapping Paper and Ribbon

For me, it happens at least once a year: I get a gift for someone, but forget the wrapping paper.  But I just discovered a trick to making my own wrapping paper that will make sure I'm never frantically running to Walmart at midnight again!

I've heard of people using grocery bags as wrapping paper before; but it's the improvised packing tape ribbon in this picture that I never would have thought of.  Check it out:
