How to Make Use of An Old Filing Cabinet

There have been at least two occasions over the past few years when we've gone through the entire station building and thrown out old furniture.  and on those occasions, there have been at least two old filing cabinets sent straight to the dumpster.  And all the while, somebody could have taken one home and used it like this...

I don't have a garage yet; but when I do, I'm totally gonna do this!
