How Much Snow Will Colorado See Across The State This Week?

It's the question on everyone's mind this time of year as the skies turn gray, the air turns colder and a little bit of the old precipitation starts rolling in over the mountains.

Will it snow? And if so, how much will we get?

Well, yes - maybe? - and not much, seems to be the answer this week anyway, for most of us in Northern Colorado and across the front range.

The mountains may see a bit more over the middle of this week, but odds are we won't see too much across our area.

Officially the Denver Metro Area should see 1 to 3 inches, while we see maybe an inch of accumulation - if that - here up north. The foothills west of Denver could see up to 7 inches or so, but most likely this storm will blow through without much more than some sloppy rain more than anything.

Areas in the southwest portion of the state could see more measurable snowfall with this one, but for the most part most of us across the populated areas of the state could see just a dusting if anything at all, before the storm wraps up and blows off to our east by Wednesday afternoon.

And by this weekend, we'll see temperatures back in the upper 50s and low 60s, making us forget it even happened at all. So if snow is your thing, enjoy it while you can!
