Hot Air Balloon Event in Frederick June 21-23

It's hot air balloon season, for sure. Frederick will be holding a three-day hot air balloon event this June. Three early mornings, one great evening.

Who doesn't enjoy seeing JUST ONE hot air balloon, let alone a whole bunch? Frederick's annual Frederick In Flight Hot Air Balloon Festival will run Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23, 2019, at the town's Centennial Park.

All three mornings will feature a breakfast vendor and a daybreak liftoff. Saturday is the big day. That morning they'll be offering free tethered balloon rides and a kids' variety show, both starting at 7 a.m. That night starting at 5 p.m. is the Glow Party with a beer garden, food trucks, free activities for the kids, and live music.

Sounds like great small town fun, to me. I'm in. Or up. Or, whatever. I'll be there.
