Holy Thievery, Batman: $42K Worth of Comics Stolen From Shop in Denver

He knew what was valuable and he went for it. Denver Police have put the Bat Signal up, as they search for the guy.

The Avengers comic that the guy stole was worth $14,000 alone. According to 9News, the 'smash-and-grab' happened late Sunday night (May 26, 2019) at Mile High Comics, a little east of the I-25 and I-170 interchange.

The suspect took 14 items, totaling $42,000. Specific items: Like an original Iron Man comic book. Apparently, he's a big Marvel fan.

The [Joker] even cut himself in the process and proceeded to clean up the mess with stuff from the bathroom.
