Update: After tirelessly working to find Lily, authorities have reported she has been found and returned home safely. 


 

The Westminster Police Department is seeking the public's help in the search for a missing 11-year-old girl.

According to a news release from Westminster PD, police received a call of a missing child at 5:26 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

The mother of 11-year-old Lilly Ingalsbe reported her daughter missing while telling police that she had left their house, located at 107th and Newcombe St. at approximately 3:30 p.m Tuesday afternoon; according to Lilly's mother, Lilly had said that she was going to Country Side Park in Westminster.

Lilly has not been seen since Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 16).

At approximately 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an Amber Alert for the missing 11-year-old Westminster girl.

According to the alert, Lilly was last seen wearing a red button-up flannel shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. She also was wearing black glasses and an orange backpack.

Lilly is 5'2" tall and weighs 111 pounds.

Overnight officers with Westminster Police continued to search the neighborhood in which Lilly was reported missing, using drones and thermal cameras to help with the search.

In addition, fliers were left around all open businesses in the area, and a Code Red notification was sent out, urging residents in the immediate community to keep an eye out for the missing 11-year-old.

This morning (Nov. 16), police are continuing to search door-to-door in the Westminster community for Lilly.
