You don't want to eat anything too heavy before jumping on this thing.

Summertime is all about fun time, right? It's about not soaking up that sun and getting in some good thrills before the school years kicks off again. And what's better than an amusement park to satisfy your adventurous side?

Roller coasters anyone?

Big drops, high speeds, and no one cares if you scream at the top of your lungs. Roller coasters have a way of making you feel like you're flying and dying all at the same time. It's. Awesome.

Recently, Popular Mechanics compiled a list of the Best Roller Coaster and Thrill Ride in Every State. When it comes to Colorado, this can't be an easy choice. Popular Mechanics did acknowledge some heavy hitters, like Cliffhanger which sits at the highest elevation at Glenwood Caverns and Boomerang at Elitch Gardens which flips you upside down six times.

However, the publication chose Twister II at Elitch Gardens as the best in the state. Riders experience an 80-foot drop with 3.1 Gs of force. Ro coaster reaches speeds of 55 miles per hour and is 4,640 feet long.

Have you ridden it?
