Greeley Makes List of Top 15 Cities That People Moved to in 2020
On a list that includes seven cities in Florida along with cities in Arizona, California, South Carolina, and the like, Greeley just makes the cut.
You just don't expect to see Greeley pop up on a list that includes places out on the coasts, but there it is Greeley at #15 of 15. Nicely done, Greeley.
BuzzFeed.com posted the list as aggregated by CoreLogic, of cities that people migrated to and bought homes in during 2020. These cities offered perks such as lower cost per square foot, lower property taxes, and great climates with options for being outdoors.
Greeley fits that bill, for sure.
A recent article states that Weld County's population will outgrow that of Larimer County's within the next ten years. Greeley does run less expensive than Loveland, Johnstown, and especially Fort Collins, while not being 'too far' from great outdoor adventures.
For 'bragging rights,' Greeley can boast that they are on a list that includes:
- Sarasota, Florida
- Phoenix, Arizona
- Cape Coral, Florida
- Stockton, California
- Dallas, Texas
- Deltona, Florida
- San Antonio, Texas
- Jacksonville, Florida
- Port St. Lucie, Florida
- Tampa, Florida
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
- Lakeland, Florida
- Riverside, California
Let's all meet at The Rio to celebrate.
