There is no better place to be in the summer than on the links, but it can burn a hole in your pocket if you hit them too much. I made a list of a few courses around Northern Colorado that won't cost you an arm and a leg for a round of 9 or 18.

1. City Park Golf Course Fort Collins

City Park Golf Course is a regulation nine-hole course right next to Fort Collins City Park. It offers challenging play for golfers of every ability and level. While there are only nine holes in this course, you can't beat the price. For those of us 18 and older, the experience will cost about $20. Those under 18 looking to get some time on the green will have to pay $14. Senior discounts are also provided.

2. Southridge and Collindale Golf Courses in Fort Collins

The City of Fort Collins also owns Southridge and Collindale golf courses. They, unlike City Park, are full 18 hole courses. For $22, you can play a 9 hole round, and for $40, you can play 18 holes. These are easily two of the best bang for your buck courses in Northern Colorado. Collindale also hosts tons of tournaments and events throughout the summer and fall!

3.  Cattail Creek in Loveland

Cattail Creek is the cheapest option with a round of 9 holes costing you only $12. If you want to add an additional 9 holes they'll only charge you $8 more. Besides that Cattail Creek offers free club rentals, something you'll have a hard time finding anywhere else.
