When many of us enjoy a day of relaxing, nearly 10,000 people will choose to run/walk in a huge 10K this Labor Day in Fort Collins. This is only the second year of the FORTitude 10K, but it certainly won't be the last. The course goes through City Park, CSU and Mountain Avenue before ending with a huge celebration at the new Canvas Stadium.

The City of Fort Collins, Visit Fort Collins, the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce, Colorado State University, and BolderBOULDER Inc. created this event last year to "highlight the growth and energy of Fort Collins, help drive tourism, create a positive halo, and drive economic impact for the city."

The FORTitude 10K takes participants on a scenic course through Fort Collins passing landmarks like City Park and CSU campus as well as weaving through classic Fort Collins neighborhoods like Avery and Mountain Avenue. The race finishes at the Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium where students, faculty, and the Fort Collins community will get to experience the grand finale. Everyone’s invited! When? Labor Day – September 3, 2018 Where? The race begins at Shields and Elizabeth Street, next to the Moby Arena in Fort Collins, Colorado, and ends at Colorado State University’s new Sonny Lubick Field.
