An 18 year old woman was murdered in Fort Collins last weekend in a parking lot in the 500 block of E Drake Rd.

According to the Coloradoan, Danielle Hopton died Sunday at UCHealth's Medical Center of the Rockies. The coroner has indeed ruled her death a homicide.

Investigators have identified the suspect, his name is Stephen McNeil and has been arrested on suspicion of first degree murder. Police originally stated that McNeil also faced a domestic violence charge but that no longer is in court records.
