Fort Collins Loses Hawaiian Restaurant, Down to Just One
Sad to see another independent business go under. After over three years, the eatery on College near the CSU campus has said 'Aloha.'
Had you ever dined at Aloha Coffe and Grill? They announced on May 11, 2019, that they've permanently closed.
The Coloradoan did a story about them when they first opened in 2015. The owners, a husband-wife couple, who are from Hawaii, wanted to bring Hawaiin fare to Fort Collins, as the husband is a CSU graduate.
They had coffee, sweets, and homestyle Hawaiin dishes.
That will leave Fort Collins with only one Hawaiin place- Honolulu Poke Bar in the Front Range Village.
They had a lot of comments from the Fort Collins community about them closing including:
Jon LueraThis makes me sad. :( I will miss you guys. Thanks for the amazing food, drinks, and, memories! Best of luck whatever you decide to do moving forward. :)
Jessica MaoI’m so sad I haven’t been able to come back since I moved out of the neighborhood. Best of luck, Jason and team! I hope you are going back to Hawaii for some good fam time and new beginnings. Much love!
Jen HoskinsonThank you for sharing your gifts with us for as long as you did. You will be greatly missed! Enjoy where the path leads you next. Mahalo!
