The 19 Free Summer Concerts at City Park in 2026

It's a great summer tradition in Fort Collins, the Fort Collins Food Truck Rally. It's more than just a bunch of food trucks, too; it brings out some of the best musicians from across Northern Colorado for a free show each week.

When is the Fort Collins Food Truck Rally?

The Fort Collins Food Truck Rally happens every Tuesday, beginning May 12, 2026 through September 15, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. until dusk. Hundreds of not only food fans, but live music fans show up each week to eat, relax, and enjoy the tunes.

The concerts portion of the rally is put together by the gang The Mishawaka, so you know that the quality is always great. The bands aren't (generally) loud, they bring a great "vibe," and of course, they play for free. It does seem odd, doesn't it, dropping $14 for a food truck item, but getting the music for free?

Imagine: coming out, grabbing some great local food, catching some great live music and really enjoying a summer evening in Fort Collins. Then, years later, you find that an act you saw at the rally is on The Jimmy Kimmel Show one night. How great would that be?

What Kind of Bands Play at the Fort Collins Food Truck Rally?

With each season, the bands come mostly from the folk and Americana genres, but that doesn't mean that you won't see a slightly edgy band or a Celtic band on one of the Tuesdays. Be sure to bring a blanket, a light jacket, and a camp chair, while you take it all in.
