Every town has it. On some random corner, often an out-of-the-way spot, there sits a little station, often with somewhat outdated pumps, that keeps their prices indescribably low. Margins for what station owners actually earn on gas are pretty small, and the cheapest gas station in Fort Collins (or insert your town name here) must be charging such bargain basement rates to get people to buy stuff from their attached convenience store.

The cheapest gas in Fort Collins is without a doubt at the Western Convenience at Mulberry and Riverside. It's funny that it isn't the only Western Convenience franchise in town, and the others usually have higher gas prices.

This is the station in Fort Collins for which people will drive across town. I generally try to wait until I need a fill up and put it on my route for the day.

As of the time I published this article, according to FortCollinsgasprices.com, Western Convenience was selling regular unleaded for $3.52 per gallon, .$37 less than the highest prices in town, which were at the Valero station on Elizabeth near CSU, registering at $3.89.
