Don't call it a list of places to avoid in Fort Collins, it's just a list of places that mountain lions have been spotted in the past.

The City of Fort Collins Department of Natural Areas reminds folks that mountain lions are a natural part of the ecosystem and we humans need to take precautions when near them.

They specifically highlight these natural areas within Fort Collins as where mountain lions have been spotted:

• Pineridge Natural Area
• Reservoir Ridge Natural Area
• Maxwell Natural Area
