Denver International Airport closed all of its runways on Wednesday afternoon due to the blizzard.

The terminal and concourse remain open but no flights will be leaving for the foreseeable future. Airlines have cancelled flights that had early afternoon and evening departure times.

Additionally, DIA warns that conditions on the adjacent Pena Boulevard are poor and visibility is extremely low.

Airlines began canceling flights on Tuesday night in advance of the storm hitting.
