Flashback: Holiday Twin’s Opening Weekend Movies in 2019

Let's look back at a simpler time: 2019. And at the Holiday Twin, four movies, but only one would really end up being a blockbuster. Do you recall which one it was?

The Holiday Twin is set to open for the season on May 1, 2020, with a 50% less capacity for cars and other additional precautions due to the pandemic.

Last year, I tried to keep track of all the movies that were shown there throughout the season. I did not manage to gather all of that data.

But, I do have what they were showing on the opening weekend of 2019:

CAPTAIN MARVEL & DUMBO

HELLBOY & COLD PURSUIT

So, how'd these four films shake out over the course of the year?

"Captain Marvel" grossed over $1 billion at the box office in 2019; on the other hand, "Hellboy (2019)" did not fare so well, pulling in only $21.9 million overall.
