In 2016, Sir Elton John announced he was not going to produce any new music anymore. The world sighed. Now, he's announced it's one last tour around the world, and then he's done doing that, too.
The world sighs again.
How many times have you seen the legend? Once? Twice? Did you ever see him with Billy Joel? Will you see him on this last tour? The 'Farwell Yellow Brick Road' tour. It's his way to say 'thanks' and 'goodbye' to all his fans. It's our last chance to say the same to him!
The tour will span over two years, taking Elton across five continents. It sounds crazy, doesn't it? But, that's how many people around the world have loved what the man does! Once the tour ends in 2020, he'll have been on the road for 50 years!
It’s time to come off the road so I can fully embrace the next important chapter of my life. - Elton John
Reggie begins his last tour, the 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' tour, on September 8, 2018, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, crossing the U.S. Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia. 65 of the shows will be in the U.S. including one last stop in the Mile High City.
February 7, 2019, at the Pepsi Center, will be your chance to see Elton John perform for one last time.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. MST on February 2, 2018, through the Elton John website. VIP packages are also available. I say go VIP- it's the last tour, and YOU DESERVE IT. Find a way to come up with cash, and DO IT!
