Caesar Salad E. Coli Outbreak Linked To Colorado

At least 17 people have been infected with E. coli in 8 states, including Colorado. Missa Bay, LLC, which makes the Ready Pac Chicken Caeser Salad, has recalled 75,000 pounds of the product which may be contaminated.

According to the KRDO website, the items in question were shipped to distribution locations in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 17 people have been infected, leading to seven people going to the hospital in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Maryland, Montana, Washington and Wisconsin. No deaths have been reported.
