Driver Hits a Pole in Fort Collins and Disrupts Traffic for a Week
At around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, somebody hit and knocked down a traffic light pole at College and Swallow. Now, it's going to be a hassle there for a week.
Those who travel the Midtown area of Fort Collins may be in for some problems. The City of Fort Collins released a statement saying that they need to do some emergency repair work for a damaged traffic signal that someone plowed into.
They've put up a temporary signal at northbound College at Swallow, but getting a new one up will take up to a week.
Until the new signal goes up, they've CLOSED DOWN the northbound left-turn lane and the northbound outside through lane.
Hopefully, it won't take a full week. Be sure to tell friends and family members headed that way to maybe not head that way anymore.
