Do People Overshare Online? [POLL]

As I watched the Denver-Pittsburgh football game last night, I also watched Facebook. There was a lot of activity, mostly from the Pittsburgh end. This morning, when I woke to realize that my Steelers had lost, I saw this.

In case you didn't know, that is my wife, a Bronco fan, and I will be the one doing the massaging. I don't feel that this is an overshare, but some might.

Intel polled 8,874 adults and teenagers in eight countries on this question. Sixty percent of the survey’s respondents answered that too much information was being divulged on the internet, with inappropriate photos, unsolicited opinions, profanity and details of daily life among the oversharing.

About ninety percent of those surveyed answered that people should be more conscious of what they are sharing on the internet in general.
