You’ll Love This Denver Restaurant’s Weekly Jabs at Russell Wilson
It's clear that having Russell Wilson as the Denver Broncos starting quarterback didn't really work out. A restaurant in Denver is letting the world know that they still have a bad taste in their mouths over it.
Sure you could say, "let it go," but maybe these are big fans of the Broncos and just can't drop the issue on how, in their minds, he let the team, Denver and Colorado down during his stint.
I can see a lot of us getting behind this restaurant, while some others may be feeling sorry for them, carrying on like this, when he's gone.

Many, many, Denver Broncos fans felt that the team signing Russell Wilson to that $245 million contract in 2022 was a huge mistake; after two seasons, it was clear that it was misspent money and trades.

In March of 2024, Denver traded Wilson to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and most fans said, "Good riddance." Now, Denver has rookie Bo Nix (doing fairly well) and Russell Wilson is succeeding in Pittsburgh.

I, for one, can respect a restaurant holding Russell Wilson's feet to the fire, even though he's long gone, with the Mile High City in his rearview.
When things go as bad as they did, you need to keep reminding people of the dumpster fire that it was.
Cochino Taco in Denver, has two locations: one in Englewood and one in Arvada. Their Englewood one has a marquee that faces South Downing Street and they've been using it to take jabs at Denver's ill-fated QB, via their Facebook page.
It's Never Too Late to Be Bitter
More than six months after Wilson was traded to Pittsburgh, Cochino Taco must have made a decision to throw him "under the bus," each week of the NFL season.
