Denver Lands High on List of Best Foodie Cities
If anyone knows a thing or two about food, it's us.
Are you a food lover, like me? Do you love finding new places to eat around town? Or maybe you love exploring new food offerings, flavor combinations and food experiences. Or if you love watching Food Network, then I think we just became best friends.
We're considered "foodies."
Now, I know what you're thinking... a foodie is someone who enjoys fine dining and gourmet food, but that's not the case. A love of food is the only prerequisite to be in this club. And in our club, we not only love to eat, but we also savor the experience of eating.
That being said, it's strange that we are not higher on this list of "Best Foodie Cities."
WalletHub compiled a list of the best cities for foodies. They looked at cost of groceries, affordability, accessibility, and food festivals. From this they made a list of the best places for us food lovers.
For what it's worth, Denver landed at number 15 on the list. That's a high ranking, but I think it should be higher. Maybe I'm getting greedy here, but Colorado, as a whole, knows a thing or two about new food experiences and we also know the perfect beer to pair them with!
Is there anything better than that?
