On Thursday, the University of Colorado posted to their website that they will be closing and selling their CU South Denver campus.

The University of Colorado System said that they will soon have a broker list the 13 acre campus located at 10035 S. Peoria St in Lone Tree.

The campus was given to the University as a gift in 2015 and was originally owned by the founders or Re/Max and used as a a museum and event space called The Wildlife Experience, according to Fox 31 News.

Colorado University officials determined that the facility was "not financially viable" and wrote on their website, “even before the pandemic, businesses in the area increasingly were moving to training and programming at their own sites rather than send employees to CU South Denver”.
