One of the most popular things to come out of Colorado have been around since 2002: Crocs, based out of Broomfield. In the nearly 25 years of being in business, they've sold nearly 3 billion pairs of clogs. You could say they're doing "very well" when it comes to those comfy, kooky, shoes.

The story goes, that the three founders of Crocs discovered a weird, foam dog made by a Canadian company. They liked the material so much, they bought the rights to the that foam material and started making "boat shoes" out of it. Decades later, the whole world at least knows of Crocs, if not owning a pair.

"Back to the Future" was the highest-grossing movie of 1985, taking in over $380 million worldwide. It was nominated for several Academy Awards, wining one award for 'Best Sound Editing.'

Crocs got its start 17 years after the 80s blockbuster, "Back to the Future" hit theaters in the summer of 1985. In the movie, Marty travels back to October 21, 1955, thanks to Doc Brown's time traveling DeLorean. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of "Back to the Future," Crocs announced it would release a "tribute" clog on October 21, 2025.

As a huge fan of "Back to the Future," I was very excited to hear about these clogs. Having not ever bought one pair of Crocs, it felt like this pair should be the pair to get me started. I can see myself walking around saying, "when I get up to three miles an hour, you're going to see some serious sh*t."

The clogs come with with all sorts of nods "Back to the Future" The Clock Tower clock, the flyer about restoring the Clock Tower, a (Cost Guard) ski vest, a hover board, the Sports Almanac, the DeLorean, and the 'OUTTATIME' license plate. The bottom of the clogs have flames, (like the DeLorean leaves behind when it hits 80 mph,) lightening, and the plutonium symbol.
