I will admit it. I, too, go dum-dum for dumplings at the moment. Seriously, I can't get enough. I even buy the little frozen packs at the grocery store you can zap in the microwave for two minutes and instantly satisfy the craving.

It's been going on the last several years, really. Ever since discovering a place called Din Tai Fung in Seattle - and a few other states and even one in London, but sadly not Colorado yet - I'm always on the hunt to find the a new favorite and local dumpling place.

If you've never heard the term, what we're talking about are "dim sum" restaurants. Literally translated as "touch the heart," dim sum restaurants specialize in steamed or fried dumplings.I'm talking pork, chicken, shrimp, soup dumplings, steamed dumplings, wontons, gyoza, potstickers... you name it. A little soy and ginger or sweet chili dipping sauce and you're good to go. All of the above and then some - get in my belly.

Here are ten of the best dumpling places in all of Northern Colorado, according to users on Yelp! For clarity, I removed a handful of the restaurants that just happen to have some kind of dumplings on their menu, but aren't necessarily in the dim sum business. To qualify for this list, they need to offer a variety of dumplings with different fillings and cooking style!
