Why is Colorado Legend Coors Light Going With a New Name?
Coors Light, enjoyed by millions of Coloradans and people from around the world, is going to be grabbing peoples' attention when they start seeing these new 12-packs.
If anything, you may want to pick up one of these 12-packs to hold onto for posterity. "Remember when Coors Light put these out?"
I've never been a fan of Coors Light, myself, but I can see getting some of these beers to hand out to friends, before they go stale. How long will they be at stores?
Colorado-Born Coors Light Introduces New Name
To commemorate the 2024 NFL season being over as of Monday, February 10, 2025, Coors Light is delivering special 12-packs to stores, with their "new" name: Monday's Light.

If you like Coors Light and hate Mondays, this is your beer. If you hate Mondays but like a good ad campaign, this is your beer. If you like any beer, but sill hate Mondays, this is your beer.

It's not known if Coors Light will be raising the price of these specialty 12-packs when we see them on the shelves, but I wouldn't be surprised if they see it as a way to get another $1.00 out of consumers.
What's the Problem with 'Mondays Light?'
The only real flaw I see in this whole thing, and maybe they did it on purpose, is they're pitch is "..a case of the Mondays," but they're 12-packs. Why not have actual cases of beer labeled as Mondays Light?
It seems like a missed opportunity, to me.
