Colorado Suburbs Front and Center Of New Netflix Series

If you lived in Colorado between 2008 and 2011 you may have followed the horrific story of a series of rapes that took place around Denver and Seattle. The stories of the victims were written about in a Pulitzer Prize winning article called "An Unbelievable Story of Rape" by T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong that was published in 2015.

Well now that story is coming to Netflix. In a limited series of the same name. The story begin with n 18 year old woman known only by her middle name of Marie who lives outside of Seattle. The story however quickly switches to Colorado, where attacks took place in Lakewood and Aurora.

The limited series premiered on September 13th. It is quite moving, and can be upsetting at times to see Marie basically bullied into changing her story, much like the story of the Central Park Five which can be seen in the Netflix limited series "When They See Us". I highly recommend both shows.
