From entire malls closing to consumers flat-out saying they absolutely will not go shopping on Thanksgiving, dozens of stores have begun to announce they're giving the holiday back to their employees to enjoy a day off.

Last week, Mall of America in the Twin Cities announced the mall will be closed on Thanksgiving. Since then, a whole list of retailers closed on Thanksgiving was released (and I expect it to grow as we get closer to the holiday).

According to BlackFriday.com, these are the major retailers with Colorado locations closed on Thanksgiving day:

Unfortunately (or fortunately for some), Colorado is not one of the 3 states that legally require stores to be closed on all holidays (Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Maine would be those 3 states.) So there will probably be some stores open on Thanksgiving, but these are not.
