Here's an odd story folks are talking about: Apparently, a cat was stolen from a family by the person who delivered their Postmates order.

It does seem like an easy solution: Get ahold of Postmates to determine who the person was that delivered the order, then track her down and retrieve the cat, aka 'Simba.'

But, according to Adams County Sheriff's Office, that's not as easy as it sounds.

**Update- We have already been in contact with Postmates

and as of now we still don't have any information regarding the driver.**

The cat theft happened on March 9, 2021. It seems crazy that more than a week later, Adams County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the community for assistance:

We need your help finding Simba! 🐱

On March 9th Simba was stolen by a Postmates delivery driver around 10:27 pm.

Many in the comments are taking issue with the cat being outside, as in 'She must have thought it was a stray,' or 'If your cat gets outside, you can expect someone to take it.'

I have two quick questions:

  • Why is it that Adams County can't get Postmates to assist?
  • What was the order?

If you should have information on this, call their non-emergency number 303-288-1535.
