Colorado Guy Puts His Kid’s Dirty Diapers in Packages for Porch Thieves
Ever have someone either vandalize or steal your property? It's infuriating, to say the least. It can also bring about questions as to how safe said property is which, as human nature would have it - especially when you're a dad - tends to put us into full defense mode.
Such is the case with Tom Busler of Denver, who's been having packages stolen from his porch. Needing an immediate remedy, he turned to Facebook, where someone suggested putting decoy packages in the real ones' place. And Tom took it from there. How predictable would it be to put a rock or some broken glass inside one of those boxes? Heck with that! This guy solved two problems at once and disposed of his two-year-old son's dirty diapers by putting them in the packages and neatly taping them shut.
This job does require some maintenance, should you ever choose to try it. Leave that sit on your porch for more than a couple of days, and you'll see why! But, when the little Busler goes through about 10 diapers a day, it only makes sense for Dad to "freshen up" the packages every day or two.
