Coloradans Have Unwisely Started Ice Fishing Already
Ice fishing is annual tradition for some Coloradans. But Colorado Parks & Wildlife is urging patience.
CPW shared a photo of someone ice fishing this week already on Steamboat Lake. The temp was still in the 50's and open water can still be seen.
CPW suggests anglers wait until the ice is at least 4 inches thick. Coloradans are asked to stay completely off the ice when there is 2 inches or less.
